Our client, a fast-growing, PE-backed SaaS company that’s doubled revenue through acquisition and product expansion, is seeking a Controller to partner directly with the CFO during an exciting growth phase.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Own & optimize accounting operations: Oversee day-to-day accounting, lead the accounting team, and drive process improvements.
  • Enhance reporting: Build out board reporting and deliver actionable insights to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance & accuracy: Manage ASC 606 and work internally with sales on contracts.
  • Contribute to strategic growth: Develop scalable accounting policies and support M&A and system implementations.
  • Coach and develop: develop and mentor a three person accounting team.

 

Who You Are

  • CPA preferred
  • Public accounting experience with SaaS clients or Accounting Manager/Controller with experience with a growing company or SaaS
  • A process improver who thrives in evolving environments

 

Work Arrangement: mostly remote with occasional days working in downtown Chicago
