Controller
Our client is an organization in the Minneapolis area looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 7+ years of experience, excellent leadership skills, and is motivated. This company provides a hard-working team, collaborative culture, and high visibility. This position is onsite.
The salary for this job is $130k – $150k.
The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead month-end close – prepare/communicate schedule, reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparation of financials statements.
- Utilize ERP system to facilitate processes, improve processes and maintain records.
- Preparation of lending compliance reports and covenant calculations.
- Assist in budget and forecasting process.
- Preparation of weekly cash forecasts.
- Lead, manage and develop accounting team.
- Other duties as assigned.
The Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 7+ years of proven experience in a manufacturing environment and cost accounting.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes.
- Knowledge of cost accounting, GAAP and ERP system(s).
- BS/BA from accredited college.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
