Controller
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 7+ years of experience, strong business acumen, and excellent leadership skills. This company provides a close-knit team, growing organization, and collaborative culture. This position is onsite.
The salary for this job is $130k – $160k.
The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform month end and year end accounting functions in a timely and accurate manner to prepare financial statements and tax returns.
- Ensure financial controls are enforced.
- Understand financial reporting, budgeting, and have ability to forecast future performance.
- Assist with Cash collections, receiving, posting, and management.
- Perform special projects as required in the areas of office administration, accounting systems, computer systems, and data base systems,.
- Develop and maintain working relationships across all internal organizations.
The Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
- 7+ years of experience with 3-5 with direct supervision responsibilities.
- Full understanding of the financial reporting process.
- Ability to perform critical thinking and plan for future growth.
- Continuous improvement mindset and an exceptional problem solver.
