Accounting Manager (38667)

 

Our client is a family owned moving and storage company looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team! This position is open due to a retirement and will oversee general accounting, payroll and AR/AP. The company has a lot of tenured employees and offer opportunities to improve and grow with the company. This position is full-time on site in Chicago, IL.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Invoicing
  • Account reconciliations
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Process and oversee payroll
  • Insurance
  • Financial Statements
  • Oversee yearly audit
  • Supervision of 5 Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Clerks.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as needed.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 5+ years of full-charge accounting experience required
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree is highly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with general ledger and financial statements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel
