Accounting Manager
Our client is an organization in the Green Bay Metropolitan area looking for an Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 4+ years of experience, organized, and has strong communication skills. This company provides a supportive team environment with a diverse range of responsibilities. This position is onsite, with the ability to work remote as needed.
The salary for this position is $70k – $100k + bonus.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the account reconciliation process and collaborate with the CFO for reviews of key accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee the monthly reconciliation of cash and manage cash controls throughout the month to meet company objectives.
- Ensure customer accounts are up to date, address any past due accounts promptly, and manage sales orders as necessary.
- Manage the payroll process, including accurate collection of time, PTO, and other hours/information necessary for payroll.
- Support daily/weekly treasury functions by processing wires, checks and other daily cash reporting functions.
- Provide necessary support and documentation for quarter and year-end financial processes to ensure completeness and accuracy.
The Accounting Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 4+ years of experience with solid general accounting skills.
- Supervisory or project leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, and internal controls.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and deductive reasoning skills.
- Travel is required, up to 10% of the year.
