Accounting and Tax Manager

Our client is an organization in the Minneapolis area looking for an Accounting & Tax Manager. This company is looking for someone who has 3+ years of tax/accounting experience, has a desire to learn and grow, and is highly motivated. This position gets to be part of a close-knit team with great people with very little turnover. This company values work life balance and relationships with their clients. This position is hybrid after training is complete.

The Accounting & Tax Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide outstanding personal service to our clients.
• Interact with clients frequently and keep workflow running smoothly.
• Supervise and review the work of staff accountants.
• Analyze financial statements then advise and consult with clients.
• Review business and personal tax returns and help clients with ongoing tax planning.
• Handle installations of new clients.
• Provide business and financial advice, computer and software support to our clients.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

The Accounting & Tax Manager will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in the accounting profession.
• CPA preferred.
• Prior experience with preparing monthly compilations for businesses, preparing business and personal tax returns.
• Highly motivated, energetic and friendly.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
