Accounting Analyst II
Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for an Accounting Analyst II. This company is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, high attention to detail, and self-motivated. The salary range for this position is $70k-80k.
The Accounting Analyst II will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actuals and budgets/forecasts.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
The Accounting Analyst II will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associate’s degree in accounting or closely related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
