Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to provide coverage during a leave of absence. This position plays a key role in supporting the accounting function during a structural transition. The ideal candidate will be ready to jump in and add value.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis
  • Review and reconcile payroll-related general ledger activity
  • Oversee bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Manage and maintain fixed asset schedules, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
  • Prepare or review sales and use tax filings across multiple states
  • Assist with inventory accounting, deferred revenue, and accruals
  • Support cash management reporting and related journal entries

 

Requirements

  • Degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • 7+ years of accounting experience
  • Availability from December through April
  • Strong technical skills
